I ask the minister to join me in meeting with key Aboriginal organisations residing within the electorate of Northcote to discuss the government’s work towards treaty and its work to overcome the systemic and cultural barriers that continue to impact Aboriginal Victorians

I rise to pay tribute to the people of the Northcote electorate, and to recognise and thank them for their incredible resilience and compassion in the face of the hardship the coronavirus pandemic has brought to our doorsteps

Not including workers that have not been with the same employer for more than 12 months in the Jobkeeper payment affects so many people in my community, but it also affects so many of the businesses disrupted by this health crisis.

I am pleased to contribute to the North East Link Bill 2020, which forms a vital piece of a very exciting plan, and that plan is for Victoria’s transport infrastructure future—a plan that will see this city and this state prepared for the next century and beyond.

It was so wonderful to be able to attend the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final at the MCG on International Women’s Day. It was even better to be able to watch our Aussie girls take home the trophy, defeating India by 85 runs.

My adjournment is to the Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, and the action I seek is that the minister encourage Darebin City Council to participate in the rollout of the four-bin kerbside recycling system.
