Quote attributable to Minister for Multicultural Affairs Richard Wynne

“We’re supporting hundreds of community events, festivals and performances across the state so that Victorians from all backgrounds can celebrate their culture and share it with others.”

Quotes attributable to Member for Northcote, Kat Theophanous

“Almost every second person in Victoria was born overseas or has a parent who was born overseas – it is wonderful to be able to support events and festivals so locals can learn more about our diversity.

“This is one of the most successfully multicultural places in the world – and that is largely down to our celebration of our cultures and traditions.”
