Your chance to be at Final of the T20 World Cup on March 8th #FILLTHEMCG

The final of the Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup will be played at the MCG on International Women’s Day, 8th March this year. You could be there!!!

You can’t be what you can’t see – for young girls and boys, the opportunity to be inspired by seeing their female sporting heroes performing on the biggest stage in front of the biggest crowds has been missing.

With a crowd of more than 90,185 at that game, Melbourne will set the new world record for the highest ever attendance at a women’s sporting fixture.

This is your chance to say you were there. And your chance to win one of five family passes (2 adults & 2 children) to the final on March 8.

I've invited all of the State Primary Schools in the Electorate to participate - to be involved, you can ask your teacher or download the template.

I’m asking students to create an artwork that captures who their favourite female sports person is and how that person inspires them.

Entries will need to be returned to my office by COB Friday 28th Feb.

The winners will be selected and the school of the winning students will be contacted to inform the students and organise the presentation and delivery of the Women’s T20 World Cup final family pass.
